The world celebrates the most popular hazelnut spread, Nutella, on Feb. 5. In honor of this wonderful holiday, here are some local restaurants that present unique ways to enjoy Nutella.
The Alley at Karrivin Plaza, Chino Roces Ave. Ext., Makati City
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, closed on Sundays
The Alley’s new milk tea spot offers pastries as well as sandwiches. Go for their s’mores-like Nutella grilled cheese, which has cream cheese and mozzarella.
Amare La Cucina

11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays to Saturdays
As if pizza couldn’t get any better, Baguio restaurant Amare La Cucina offers a dessert pizza featuring the beloved hazelnut spread, served with vanilla ice cream and caramelized walnuts.

If you’ve got a busy day ahead, opt for the xuxos—stuffed churros you can just grab and eat even on the go. Aside from classic flavors like dulce de leche, strawberry jam, and peanut butter, La Lola also offers Nutella-stuffed xuxos.

This UK milkshake bar has more than 180 ingredients to choose from—Nutella included. Their Pullover Pam milkshake, for example, has Nutella and peanut butter topped with mini marshmallows, which makes for a perfectly cozy vibe if you have it in hand.
