The art of collecting has experienced a boom during quarantine. From erotic glasses to Swedish dinnerware, there’s a variety of things people have started curating for their personal collections.

Hobbies like this are usually quite pricey, but Agusto “Ugu” Bigayan has put some of his ceramic crafts on sale.

Ugu Bigyan is selling some of his unique pieces with a 20 percent discount through a dedicated Instagram account. The page currently has a catalog of over a hundred ceramic wares up for purchase.
Each piece of pottery is brand new and handmade by the Quezon-based ceramic craftsman himself. On the list of available items are wind chimes, trays, vases, plates and home decor. There are also figurines of animals such as owls, frogs and birds if you want to add a little more fauna to your home or outdoor decor.
All the pieces are also signed by the same hands that made them. The price of these ceramics range from P160 for smaller items like coasters, to P3,600 for bigger items like pots.

If you’re considering purchasing one of these items, keep in mind that his studio is based in Quezon province. Aside from your new wind chime, you’ll also have to pay for the delivery fee (which is via LBC). According to their FAQs story on Instagram, they won’t be entertaining any returns, exchanges or refunds. All sales are final, even if your bowl cracks in transit.
There may be a risk in getting your pieces delivered in one piece, but that shouldn’t stop you from expanding your quarantine pottery collection. Who knows? It might become a precious family heirloom, passed down through generations. For now, though, a bouquet of dried flowers would look great in any of the vases.
