Filipino cinephiles, Cinema One Originals is here to help you have a very merry Christmas. You can catch some of the titles like “Yours Truly, Shirley,” “Lucid” and “Utopia” online through Cinema One All Access on KTX.ph.
These movies will be available on the event streaming platform starting Dec. 16, with tickets for each movie priced at P99. Other movies that will be available for streaming are “Tía Madré” and “Tayo Muna Habang Hindi Pa Tayo.”

“Yours Truly, Shirley”
“Yours Truly, Shirley” is a 2019 film written and directed by Nigel Santos. It’s about a woman who believes her dead husband has been reincarnated into one of the hottest pop stars in the country. It features Regine Velasquez in the titular role of Shirley.
“Lucid” is a 2019 fantasy film written by Natts Jadaone and directed by Victor Villanueva. It tells the story of a woman who leads a routinary life that turns exciting through her lucid dreams. Stars Alessandra de Rossi, JM Cruz and Peewee O’Hara. It bagged the awards for best editing and best actress in 2019 Be warned, though. It tackles sensitive topics like depression, so it may be triggering for some viewers.
“Utopia” is a 2019 crime comedy film written and directed by Justin Celestino. It follows the stories of a freelance videographer, a rookie cop and an undercover drug enforcement agent as they get tangled in a web of crime. This movie won the jury prize at last year’s Cinema One Originals awards.
“Tía Madré” is a 2019 horror film written and directed by Eve Baswell. It tells the story of a 10-year-old girl named Camille whose mother (played by Cherie Gil) transforms into a dark, violent, sinister and possibly inhuman creature.
“Tayo Muna Habang Hindi Pa Tayo”
“Tayo Muna Habang Hindi Pa Tayo,” a 2019 romantic drama written and directed by Denise O’Hara, delves into the weird in-between status of a not completely broken-up undefined relationship between a laid-back leading man and a strong female lead.
