We’ve been looking forward to the opening of Tsuta, the world’s first Michelin-starred ramen restaurant, in Manila as early as June this year. And it’s finally (finally!) opening on Dec. 16. As if we aren’t excited enough, we just got word from Foodee Global Concepts (the same group that’s brought other Michelin-rated restaurants to the Philippines) that there will be special prizes for those who visit the store early.
The first 100 guests who get to try Tokyo’s award-winning ramen will get the following:
- First 10 — one year supply of Tsuta ramen
- Diners 11-30 — six months’ worth of ramen
- Diners 31-50 — three months’ worth of ramen
- Diners 51-100 — one voucher for one free bowl of signature Tsuta ramen valid for claiming within one year
Note though that you can only get one bowl of ramen per week. Winners of this prize can choose from their specialty shoyu (soy sauce-based), shio (salt-based), or miso.
Plus, you might also meet chef Onishi Yuki, the founder and executive chef of Tsuta. (You can thank him for bringing his ramen here, personally, if you’d like!)
Tsuta Ramen will be opening at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 16, at UGF C3 Bonifacio High Street Central, 7th Ave. corner 30th Street. Interested diners can start queuing at 6 a.m.—yep, just like they do in Japan.
