If you’re planning any out of Manila trips this week, better be ready with a stock of patience, as the North Luzon Expressway and Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (NLEX-SCTEX) will be experiencing slow-moving traffic these coming days.
The two expressways are scheduled for maintenance works and bridge retrofitting in particular areas, which will take from two days to a week.
NLEX Corporation’s advisory, released last Saturday July 14, notes that parts of the expressways will be closed to any types of vehicles, and that the road works are to “maintain the good condition of the expressway and ensure the safety of the public passing by the expressways,” Inquirer reports.
