13 million Mindanao earthquake donations to be spent on secure reallocation

With the help of the 13 million accumulated cash donations, 2.8 hectares of land in Barangay Malawanit—a remote rural area—is reportedly being developed for the effective reallocation and housing of the 50 affected families.

Barangay Chairman Dennis Helbes confirms this in an interview for ABS-CBN News as he states that “As soon as possible lilipat na sila kaya nagpapakuha na tayo ng kahoy kasi may nag-sponsor ng yero.”

Aside from this, other potential reallocation sites are still being surveyed. Here are other ways you can help.
