NetflixPH now offers a P149 a month mobile subscription

Some good news for people who love to binge-watch out there (which at this point might just be everyone), massive streaming platform Netflix is now offering a more affordable and accessible monthly subscription deal exclusive for mobile phones and tablets.

If you’re like me who rarely has the time to sit around and watch shows in a full blown smart TV setting (not to mention my sister always calling dibs on it), this new plan might just help you save up for the rainy days. Gone will be the days of paying either P369 (basic plan), P459 (standard plan) or even P549 (premium plan) for a subscription you may not even be getting the most out of as NetflixPH rolls out a mobile plan at P149 a month.

Capitalizing on the slogan “Turn your downtime into primetime,” the promo is meant for people who are mainly mobile streamers may it be because of their job, active lifestyle or those who are simply on a budget. At P149 a month, you can stream all the available films and shows on the platform uninterrupted and without ads. What’s more is that, you can still share the subscription to five accounts including a kid’s account.

Although the caveat is that unlike their previous plans which allow you to simultaneously stream on multiple devices, this mobile plan only allows you to stream on one smartphone or tablet at a time. Nonetheless, the mobile plan does allow subscribers to download shows for offline viewing, so we’re sure you can make arrangements.

You can sign up for the mobile plan using the Netflix app or if you are on iOS, through their website starting Mar. 13. If you are currently subscribed to one of their regular plans, you can change your plan through this link.
