UP Diliman is offering free online psychotherapy for healthcare frontliners

Help, not revolution: Healthcare workers answer back to the President

Braving the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak does not only entail a high risk of infection but also high levels of anxiety for  health workers. In response to this, the University of the Philippines – Diliman Psychological Services (UPD PsycServ) is offering tele-psychotherapy services for healthcare workers—free of charge.

UPD PsycServ is a mental health program that provides accessible psychosocial support services to students, faculty and staff. Its team of licensed psychologists and experienced clinical practitioners has recently shifted to tele-psychotherapy in response to the enhanced community quarantine.

Tele-psychotherapy is the delivery of mental health therapy services through live video conferencing. These sessions are usually carried out at a suitable schedule for the therapist and the client, through a secure video platform.

Healthcare workers who want to avail of the service can send their name, designation and hospital to 0906-3743466 via text or Viber, or sign up for a slot through this link.
