I suppose it’s fair to say that the jukebox musical “Ang Huling El Bimbo” broke local internet over the weekend of May 8 and 9 during its short online run. While there’s much to be said to about the musical (but I’ve already said my piece in 2019), one key takeaway from this recent showing is that there’s a market for local theater, and there’s a demand for theater productions to be made more accessible.
Now if you’re still reeling and want to watch more plays online, here are some productions you can stream for free. Bookmark this page as we’ll continue updating it with more shows as soon as they go online.
