For P99, you can catch these digitally-restored Filipino film classics this weekend

Digitally restored classic Filipino films have had an uptick in demand in recent years with viewings in microcinemas and through events organized by restorators like ABS-CBN. Then came the pandemic. The natural next step is to take these masterpieces online on streaming platforms like KTX, ABS-CBN’s on-demand multimedia streaming service. And they’re doing just that starting this weekend.

KTX’s “Sagip Pelikula Festival” will stream digitally restored and remastered classics like Mario O’Hara’s “Bulaklak sa City Jail,” Ishmael Bernal’s “Tisoy” and Marilou Diaz-Abaya’s “Moral,” starting Jan. 15. E-tickets start at P99, which entitle you to stream movies for a limited time period.

Previously, KTX announced that it will show Jose Javier Reyes’ 1996 movie “Radio Romance,” which starred Gelli De Belen alongside the late actor Rico Yan, Jolina Magdangal and John Estrada, this Thursday, Jan. 14.

To buy tickets, log in or sign up at ktx.ph.
