A big part of opening a business is finding the right location, and Intramuros is offering just that. The Intramuros Administration announced, June 28, that it is opening up bidding for commercial spaces in the historical district.

For business owners who are thinking about transitioning their online pandemic venture to a physical space, this could be your opportunity to set up shop in one of the famous and storied places in the country. There are different types of spaces available to choose from, depending on your budget and requirements.

There are five different types of spaces for lease ranging from kubos and stalls to actual chambers used during the Spanish colonial period. The spaces are located in different areas inside the walled city.

The price per month of these spaces vary depending on the location and size. To give you an idea of the monthly rent, the stalls go for P12,480 per month, while the bigger spaces can go up to P34,321.60.

If you’re interested in making the leap and leasing out one of these spaces, you can contact the Intramuros Business Management Division at 0936-8403225 or email business@intramuros.gov.ph. The bid documents will be available starting July 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon (excluding weekends and holidays) at the 5th Floor of Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros.
