If candlelight, music, and wine is your thing, this event has all three

There’s nothing more wonderful than listening to music and having a glass of wine in a candlelit room, and that’s exactly what this event is. “Emotions II” is a candlelight string concerto featuring the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra that comes with a wine flight.

An evening like this requires a romantic venue, which is why the event’s backdrop of choice is the penthouse dome of the historic First United Building in Escolta.

The event will be hosted by the invite-only party collective No Name, but that doesn’t mean you can’t score a seat. If you’re interested in attending the event, all you need to do is send a DM to their Instagram and you’re all set.

The concerto is the latest of a string of unique events organized by the group. They’ve previously done quiz nights, movie screenings, wine tastings, and themed dance parties.

For the concerto, the dress code is “dress like you would at the ballet,” so take that as a cue to bring out the dress you’ve been dying to wear or the suit that’s been hiding in your closet.

And if you’re not necessarily a classical music fan, don’t worry. The event will feature more contemporary songs (and even some Taylor Swift, if we’re lucky).

The event is scheduled on Saturday, April 6, so make sure to send those DMs in and reserve your seats ASAP. It’s also first come, first served, so make sure you arrive when doors open at 4:30 p.m.
