Take your pets out on a date this weekend

No date this weekend? Take your pets with you! From being the most energetic welcoming party to being your number one stress reliever, they totally deserve the reward of your company (along with other dogs and cats, too). Here are five pet-friendly cafés and restaurants that are purr-fect for any pet parent.

Rustic Mornings by Isabelo
Marikina City

Different artworks and repurposed houseware will greet you when you enter Rustic Mornings. This hidden eclectic restaurant in Marikina serves the best comfort food in the area. I personally recommend their buffalo wings with bleu cheese coleslaw; your choice if you want to share or have it all for yourself.

Kandle Café
Mother Ignacia Ave., Quezon City

This third-wave coffee shop in Q.C. is a cozy nook made for coffee and animal lovers. Kandle Café specializes in specialty coffee but their food is equally inviting as well. You’ll find healthy salads, pasta, and other Filipino favorites on their menu.

Whole Pet Kitchen
San Juan, Manila

Aside from having a dog café, Whole Pet Kitchen serves as a one-stop shop for anything organic for your pet. Their celebration cakes are customizable—you can choose either liver or banana oat for the base (depending on your pet’s preference, of course), and pick different frostings like cream cheese, mango, or peanut butter.

Respite
Sct. Fernandez, Quezon City

Another café we’re adding to the list is Respite. It’s a small creative hub and coffee shop which you can bring your pets to if you want to unwind or get some work done.

Bake n’ Bacon
Nuvali, Laguna

Go on a road trip down south with your pet and dine in at Bake n’ Bacon in Nuvali. Although dogs aren’t allowed to eat bacon (just pack a lot of treats before you leave!), you’d still get to enjoy the food in their company.
