All the stores participating at this year’s Free Comic Book Day

Every first Saturday of May, comic book stores and publishers gift their fans free comic singles. The event is called Free Comic Book Day celebrated to thank their fans for their support and also to introduce characters to new aficionados. Originally, however, it’s an annual promotional effort by the comic book industry in North America to help bring new readers into independent book stores, which started in 2002.

It’s now on its 17th year and has become a huge event—one that we started celebrating here in the Philippines in 2007.

So, what can Filipinos expect from the Free Comic Book Day 2019 (FCBD) May 4? Obviously, free comic singles. These titles are made and ordered specifically for FCBD. Some comic book stores will also put some titles on discount, so watch out. But where can we avail them? Here’s a list of the participating book stores this year:
