Pinto Art Museum has altered the way we appreciate art and, to an extent, the way see Antipolo. Since it opened its doors to the public, it has become one of the museums in the Philippines that have changed local museum culture.
Today, the museum founded by Dr. Joven Cuanang is welcoming 2020 with the opening of Gallery 7, the largest wing in its six-building, 1.2-hectare property. “This new wing of the museum features more brilliant artworks and installations by contemporary Filipino artists,” states on its official Instagram account.
While some areas of the gallery are still closed for viewing, the museum announced that they will eventually be opened in the coming days. Here’s a quick preview of what to expect.
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m with tickets priced at P200 for adults, P180 for senior citizens and PWD with valid IDs, and P100 for students with valid school IDs.
