Aside from being a way to document memories, taking photos and videos is an easy way to convey our feelings, thoughts and ideas—and these might just be the perfect motivation to learn the art of photography and videography right now.
Through online classes, photography and imaging company Fujifilm is offering an accessible way for budding photographers and videographers who want to further grow their knowledge on the craft, especially during the enhanced community quarantine period.
“As our little way of uplifting the photography and videography community during these times, we are launching Fujifilm Academy Online, free online lessons that aims to educate our consumers about photography and videography while staying at home,” the brand shared.
Personally hosted via video by known names in the photography and videography industry, Fujifilm Academy Online comes in two time slots (2 p.m. and 5 p.m.) with new sessions every five days.
The series of lessons kicked off on Mar. 25 with sessions on doing simple one light set-ups for portraits at home taught by Jerico Montemayor, and editing Fujifilm JPEG files taught by Magic Liwanag.
Its upcoming online lesson, scheduled on Mar. 30, will be on video color grading hosted by JC Gellidon and easy product photography at home by Ricky Ladia. Other topics that Fujifilm Academy Online will touch on include music video production, food photography and live streaming.
Running until Apr. 13, The full schedule for the online photography and videography classes offered by Fujifilm are as follows:
Although the video sessions premiere at specific times, they are made available on Fujifilm’s official Facebook page afterward for late or repeat viewing.
