Auro chocolate’s first ice cream product is vegan chocolate gelato

Some very good news for our vegan friends, last March we told you about the vegan Magnum ice cream being available in the Philippines; but now our very own chocolate brand Auro Chocolate has ventured into the frozen desert scene with their all new vegan chocolate gelato.

In an instagram post, Auro Chocolate announced that they have infused their rich dark chocolate bar into a frozen treat.

The new addition is part of their Quarantreats online menu which includes several baking kits (including a vegan one too!) and an assorted collection of their chocolate bars. The plant-based gelato is made out of their world-renowned Auro cacao which is 77 percent dark chocolate, cacao mass, cacao butter, cacao powder along with cane sugar, glucose and of course contains soy instead of real milk.

It comes in a 473 ml pint which retails for P480 each exclusive of the shipping fee of P175 but will only be available for deliveries within Metro Manila. Deliveries are on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. though there’s a 5 p.m. cut-off-on orders before the next day and you can pay via Paypal and BDO bank transfer.

20 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Makati Medical Center, Philippine General Hospital and Philippine Red Cross in the form of chocolate to support the efforts of our frontliners.
