The purple yam jam, which for years has become the convent of the same name’s bread and butter, has developed a cult following among Baguio tourists. But did you know that in Tagaytay, a convent belonging to the same congregation is also making them?
[READ: Climate change has turned this famous ube jam purple to white]It is where social enterprise Spew Organics gets their supplies of the infamous ube jam, which you can have delivered to your home along with other Good Shepherd delicacies.
And you’re not only satisfying your cravings, every purchase of Spew Organics products also contributes to a good cause as it donates part of its sales to non-profit organizations against human trafficking.

Apart from ube jam, Spew Organics also sells pastries, gourmet sardines, peanut butter and cashew brittle among other beloved pasalubong items.
