Do your palengke run through Farmers Market’s Viber group

Among our go-to places in Metro Manila for fresh produce, meat and seafood was Farmers Market in Cubao, while Farmers Garden served as a haven for our “plantita” and “plantito” selves. However, it’s been a while since we’ve visited these places for our weekly market runs because of quarantine restrictions.

For the benefit of both its customers and stall vendors, Araneta Center recently launched a way to access Farmers Market and Farmers Garden digitally: the Farmers Market & Garden PH Viber group.

Through this platform, customers can book orders directly to stall vendors of the two marketplaces, whose livelihoods were affected by the pandemic.

“In this Viber group, vendors are given the chance to post their products, contact details and stall location to allow potential buyers to contact them directly for order placement and inquiries,” stated Araneta Center on their website.

If you’re looking for a specific product from Farmers Market and Farmers Garden, you may also post on the group so that the sellers can see.

“Payment terms, delivery, and pick up agreements are left to the discretion of the buyers and sellers for added convenience,” added Araneta Center.

The Viber group is open to everyone, and to join, just click here or search for Farmers Market & Garden PH on Viber.
