Class is in session: Ambeth Ocampo is taking his history lecture series online

This year, writer and historian Ambeth Ocampo is celebrating 10 years of delivering public lectures through Ayala Museum’s History Comes Alive! lecture series. Due to restrictions on mass gatherings, however, the lecture series will be going online.

As part of Ayala Museum Virtual, the online version of History Comes Alive! will be talking about two topics that have been prominent for the better part of the year: the pandemic and fake news. The lectures will take place on Sept. 18 and Oct. 2 respectively, and will be held on Zoom.

Individual event passes are priced at P1,000, but virtual passes for both lectures and a Rush Hour concert online is also available for P2,700. Teachers, students, Ayala Museum members and Ayala Group of Companies employees can get tickets at a discounted rate of P700. Tickets for the event can be purchased through their website.

Proceeds from this event will go towards Ayala Foundation’s Student Online Access Program, which will give students internet allowance for a year.
