The Sunny Side Cafe is having a Manila pop-up and we’re absolutely excited

Although pandemic restrictions on domestic travel have been eased, it’s still not a great idea to travel around the country. For fans of Boracay’s The Sunny Side Cafe, you don’t have to travel to get a taste of your favorite dishes—at least for a while.

Spicebird Grill, Sunny Side’s sister restaurant, has announced that The Sunny Side Cafe will be having a Manila pop-up at Rockwell’s The Grid food hall.

The Instagram post read “The Sunny Side Cafe Boracay is having a Manila Pop-Up at The Grid, Power Plant Mall, from Dec. 2 to Feb. 28! We’re bringing some of your favorite dishes from The Sunny Cafe to the city such as The Kitayama Beef Tapsilog, Bacon & Mango Grilled Cheese, The Sunny Side Cafe Champorado, and of course, our famous pancakes!”

If you’re not that confident in leaving your homes yet, Sunny Side will also be offering some of their dishes for delivery through The Grid’s delivery center (which is also great in case you need a lunchtime treat during the workday).

The Sunny Side Cafe’s full menu for their Manila pop-up is yet to be announced, but it’s safe to say that we’re really looking forward to eating whatever they have to offer.
