Traveling to Bulacan will now take you 45 minutes max via this new route

Your next out of town getaway up north can be as quick 45 minutes via the newly opened Plaridel Bypass Road Section.

According to Virgilio Castillo, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) director of the Roads Management Cluster 1 Unified Project Management Office, motorists bound for eastern Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and parts of Cagayan Valley can now drive through the 10-kilometer stretch of the bypass road, which connects the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) to the Maharlika Highway.

Castillo added that the newly completed parts of the bypass road still requires a bit of clean-up, but reassuring the public that it won’t affect the traffic. The road stretches through the towns of Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel, Bustos, and San Rafael. Remember to drive through NLEx’s Balagtas exit to take the bypass.
