HaloHalo just debuted their new collection at ArteFino

It’s time once again for ArteFino, the artisanal fair that started last year. Just like the previous one, expect to see a lot of beautiful handcrafted pieces made from traditional Filipino textiles. If you’re on the fence about going, or you want a heads up on what to look out for, here’s one store to keep in mind.

HaloHalo is an online furniture and accessories store that combines both Filipino heritage and culture and modern minimalist designs. They do so by translating traditional Filipino products into timeless designs, such as their beautiful bayongs and palengke bags.

For this year’s ArteFino, HaloHalo is debuting their new collection, Resort, that makes pieces for island living that’s still suitable for city dwellers. Some of the pieces you’ll see are their biyahe tote bags, round-pillow unans, and belt bags.

Other items from the collection that you’ll be able to see at the fair are their throw pillows, clutches, folding screens, and so on.

HaloHalo’s design philosophy is to create pieces that are meant to be lived in. “We’re the opposite of occasion dressing. Our products don’t have off days,” is the brand’s mission statement, and their commitment to that is very evident in their pieces. The brand also believes in making style go hand in hand with ethical consciousness, thus their use of ethically-sourced local fabric.
