Halloween in our country is synonymous to Magandang Gabi Bayan (for the older ones) or Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho special episodes, family reunions, trick or treating, and of course, costume parties. It’s one of the greatest excuses to showcase your creativity and costume making prowess.
With that said, here are some events, parties, and promos for the Halloween you shouldn’t miss if you’re big on this holiday.
Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila
Marco Polo Ortigas’ Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge is having a Yelloween in partnership with French champagne house Veuve Clicquot. In costume and with a glass of champagne (among a various selection of drinks), enjoy the night of Oct. 26 on the 45th floor of the towering hotel which offers a 180-degree view of Manila. Midnight Museum, Ayala Museum
Ayala Museum’s Midnight Museum is back and on its fifth year, it’s themed Dia de Muertos: Forgotten Souls. On Oct. 26, help guide the souls to peaceful repose through rituals, superstitions, and ceremonial challenges. There will be a 30-minute horror adventure tour with the performance company Sipat Lawin Ensemble, Ayala Museum’s partner for the event. Halloween Monster Mash, Crimson Hotel, Filinvest City
At Crimson Hotel in Filinvest City, families are invited to dress up in their spookiest costume and join the Halloween Monster Mash. It’s a night of Halloween ballroom party with a snack buffet, costume contest, various activities, and loot bags. It’s happening on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., for P1,100 per person. The Great Halloween Show, Ortigas Malls (Tiendesitas, Estancia, Greenhills)
Ortigas lifestyle malls Greenhills, Tiendesitas, and Estancia is having The Great Halloween show on Oct. 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. The show consists of musical performances, acrobat exhibition, magic show, costume contest for the kids, games, and trick or treat. To register, customers must present a minimum single receipt or accumulated receipt worth P3,000 from Ortigas malls tenants from Oct. 25 to 28. Shake, Rattle, and Run!
Now, for a healthier and more active night, Red Sports PH is hosting a Halloween fun run and night party at the CCP Complex in Pasay City. Halloween ComicFest, Fully Booked
Bookworms, this one’s for you! On Oct. 27, all Fully Booked branches in Metro Manila is having Halloween ComicFest. What can you expect here? Free one comic book and a 20 percent discount on all graphic novels and comics.
MCAD Film Screenings: Halloween Special

El Dia De Los Muertos, Edsa Shangri-La
