Welcome to The House, a pop-up with furniture, flora, and food

Lady Scott Jones, a home store located in Metro Club, is hosting a pop-up for the next three months starting today at Power Plant.

At House, a Lady Scott Jones project store “where furniture meets flora meets food—all in one house,” visitors are invited to prop themselves on seats or sofas by the furniture label.

Lady Scott Jones, the furniture label, will be hosting a pop-up at Power Plant, across Rimowa, for the next three months.

The space, characterized by Lady Scott Jones’ neutral pieces in neoclassical and English garden styles, is punctuated by plenty of greenery. Potted ferns hang from the ceiling next to traditional branched chandeliers. Dried and fresh flowers are arranged on tables. All the better for you to gather and purchase.

And there’s a cafe. In partnership with Gourmet Garage, the cafe menu consists of croissant sandwiches (caesar chicken apple slaw with bacon, P155; or gourmet ham and brie, P140) and pasta (spiced scallop with scallop capellini, P395, duo of bonashimei and enoki mushrooms with Chinese smoked scallops, chili and olive oil; gluten free spinach mushroom spaghettini, P385). A bakery, for the dessert-oriented, also exists. There will be a cookie bar (Toblerone cookie, P150, fudgy dark cookie with Toblerone and almonds; halo halo bar, P100, chunky bar flavored with ingredients from the Filipino special) and a cake bar with a rotating list of desserts. For July, expect ube leche flan cake and tres leches cake.
