Emily Adams Bode’s eponymous line is finally making its way to Manila next year. In an Instagram post, Univers officially announced that Bode’s “off-kilter pieces that express sentimentality, personal narrative, and historical technique” will be introduced next season.
Bode is a luxury menswear brand established by Emily Adams Bode known for its sentimental take on menswear, weaving antique elements into a single garment. As a result, the brand is able to come up with unconventional silhouettes and textiles that exhibit Bode’s personal stories alongside her explorations of history.
Bode was recently awarded the 2019 Emerging Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and is also known as the first female designer to show at New York Fashion Week: Mens.
