With the lack of transportation systems and suppressed routes due to the enhanced community quarantine, produce from farmers in the provinces are not being delivered and consumed with previous reports on farmers even giving their produce for free, lest it rot and go to waste.

To address this issue, Bangon Benguet—a farm-to-table initiative managed by the Department of Agriculture with the help of Victory Liners, Inc.—will transport around 5,000 kilograms of fresh produce from Benguet farmers to Manila.
Available vegetables include Baguio beans, broccoli, cabbage, kamote, ginger, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, wombok and more—all priced at a maximum of P250 per kilo. The minimum quantity of orders is half a kilogram per individual item.
Once the produce has arrived in Manila, Bangon Benguet will have a pickup point at Victory Liner Cubao Terminal (southbound along EDSA), but the produce can also be delivered to your homes through Lalamove or GrabExpress with delivery fees shouldered by the customer.
To order, simply send a private message to their Facebook group with your name, contact number, whether it is for pick-up or delivery, delivery address and number of kilos per item. You can also send your orders to 0917-6279672 via text or Viber. Wait for the confirmation message that contains the billing and payment information. Payment can be done through bank deposit or online payment transfer on BPI, UnionBank, GCash or BDO. Send a screenshot or photo of payment and wait for confirmation and delivery or pick-up schedule.
Orders from today (Apr. 14) onwards will be delivered from Apr. 16 to Apr. 17 within Metro Manila only. Bangon Benguet can only accept and confirm orders from 9 a.m. to 6p.m.
