National Bookstore reopens branches in GCQ areas

Last week, we told you about how National Bookstore is finally reopening for delivery amid the enhanced community quarantine. This Wednesday, May 6, they’ve announced that a handful of their branches nationwide located in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) are once again open to cover all your stationery needs.

You can now conveniently shop (almost) like before for school and office supplies, safety essentials like face masks and alcohol as well as browse through their selection of books.

Since there’s still the threat of the virus, the bookstore has taken it upon itself to issue some precautionary measures, which include requiring both customers and employees to use face masks and limiting customer entry in observance of proper social distancing measures.

The branches will also regularly clean and disinfect their facilities and shopping baskets, as well as provide separate alcohol bottles for use at each cashier counter.

Below are the branches that have reopened in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao respectively. Since malls have partially been allowed to reopen in areas in GCQ, you will notice that a lot of their branches that have reopened are in malls. You can, however, still opt to have supplies delivered to you by messaging the numbers per each branch:

National Bookstore branches open in Luzon include those that are in SM Baguio, Baguio-Abanao, SM Cauayan, Robinsions Santiago, Isabela, SM Tuguegarao, Robinsons Tuguegarao, Robinsons Palawan, SM Puerto Princesa, SM Naga, Robinsons Naga and Solano Nueva Vizcaya.

Whereas, their branches in Visayas that are open are:  Robinsons North Tacloban, SM Hypermarket Cadiz, Island City Bohol, Robinsons Antique, Robinsons Ormoc, SM Ormoz and Robinsons Roxas, Capiz.

In Mindanao, National bookstore branches in SM General Santos, Robinsons General Santos, KCC Veranza, Robinsons Valencia, MGM Square Dipolog and Gaisano Mall Digos have also reopened.
