At the height of Manila’s food hall boom, Tasteless Food Group introduced The Grid Food Market at Power Plant Mall in Makati. It set itself apart by highlighting the food rather than each stall’s branding. Although most of the concepts were helmed by some of Manila’s most known chefs, the goal was to make the food hall less overwhelming.
Two years later, The Grid remains standing as a solid space for both innovative and well-loved comfort dishes. The food hall has adapted to the pandemic setup by accommodating al fresco dining at Power Plant’s streetside dining space, and has also since gone online, with orders now available for dine-in, takeout, and pick up/delivery. (Then there’s also Off-Grid, a purely virtual food hall.)
