UPDATE: Its pop-up store at Salo Park in Malate has already closed but you can still enjoy all the well-loved dishes at its 245 Primo Rivera corner Pablo Ocampo Ext, La Paz, Makati City outlet.
Our office has had a long standing love affair with Makati’s favorite goto place, Goto Monster for quite awhile now. If we need a pick-me-up from work, it’s Goto Monster. If it’s payday and we’re feeling indulgent, we go to Goto Monster. If we’re just plain craving lugaw, we go to Goto Monster.
A mere 10 minute walking distance from our building, this small but incredible restaurant on the corner of Dungon St. is famous for serving up the most umami and value-for-money goto (Filipino rice porridge) in town. For the price of P95, you can have a sizeable bowl of its comforting rice porridge, with toppings ranging from the goto special classic filled with beef tripe, to the more indulgent bagnet and shiitake mushrooms.
