There are many ways we define our relationships and strengthen bonds with family and friends. One of the most popular activity is gift giving, which, surprisingly, give more psychological gains to the giver rather than the recipient, according to psychologists.
However, in this economy, it’s easy to withdraw from this activity due to traffic, crowds, high prices of almost anything, and commercialism. But give it a chance. There are ways to make your Christmas shopping easier.
One is through going to bazaars like Noel Bazaar, the biggest and longest-running bazaar in the metro. It’s a one-stop shop for everything your friends and relatives may love—from Christmas decor to apparels to skincare and beauty items. This year, it’s having three legs: in Filinvest Alabang (Nov. 29 to Dec. 23), World Trade Center (Nov. 15 to 30); and SMX Convention Center (Dec. 14 to 23).
There will also be an ukay-ukay for a cause on the SMX Convention leg care of the artists of GMA Network. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to GMA Kapuso Foundation.
Here are some of the things you can buy from merchants at the bazaar:
Fanny packs by Alpha Wolf Clothing
Storage organizers by Storage Solutions
Organic scrubs by Twenty-Eighth Street
Pillow blankets by ARK PH
Bags from Pañeras
To make shopping more enjoyable, the International Food Feast Bazaar also takes place during Noel. For more information on Noel Bazaar, check out their Facebook page.
