Areté, Ateneo de Manila’s creativity and innovation hub, will be having its annual Christmas concert entitled “The Second Noel” on Dec. 11, Wednesday, which will feature performances by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, Noel Cabangon, Gloc-9, the cast of Dekada ‘70, Neo Colours, Joanna Ampil, Arman Ferrer, Hangad, Frio, Sherwin Siozon, Ateneo Chamber Singers, Ateneo Blue Repertory, and Dulaang Sibol.
Championing the theme of gratitude, the concert will be free and open to the public and with organizers encouraging attendees to bring their own picnic mats, reusable containers, and utensils.
But the concert won’t only feature musical performances; poetry by Quiel Quiwa, Marlu Vilches, Beni Santos, Serge Gabriel and Mike Coroza (with Eddie Suarez on guitar) will also be part of the presentation.
The Second Noel will take place on Dec. 11, 7 p.m. at the Ignacio B. Gimenez amphitheater.
