Bad Bird just dropped their exact recipe, so you can recreate their umami chicken at home

More and more brands are revealing their recipes and selling cook-at-home kits. Now, another restaurant is sharing one of their signature recipes to the public.

Bad Bird has packed their umami chicken into a complete cook-at-home kit, which you could get for P399 here.

The kit includes six pieces of brined chicken leg and thigh, batter mix, breading mix, gravy and Bad Bird’s seasoning powder. You can also choose between safe and spicy levels upon placing your order.

Aside from the home kit, the restaurant also shared a step-by-step guide for breading, frying and seasoning the fried chicken as well as preparing its gravy.

The kit’s brined chicken can last for two months in the freezer, while the batter and breading mix can last for a month at room temperature.

Bad Bird’s home kit is available for delivery in Metro Manila, except for Caloocan, Fairview, Novaliches, Malabon, Valenzuela and Las Piñas. They also book third-party couriers like Grab Express, Lalamove, Angkas and Mr. Speedy depending on availability for delivery with a flat rate of P195, but you can also book your own courier by selecting the pickup option upon checkout.
