Fortunately, there’s the Singapore Food Festival, which is offering a series of masterclasses by some of Southeast Asia’s well-known chefs.
One of the classes you can sign up for is 2Fast, 2Delicious – Hokks and Clay, presented by chef Margarita Forés and Siri House’s chef Ming Tan. Here, the two chefs will be sharing their “personal flavor secrets” and easy recipes for Hokkien mee and claypot rice. Participants can follow along by ordering cooking kits on Shopee or Food2Go.
The 2Fast, 2Delicious – Hokks and Clay class is free of charge and will be streamed on Singapore Food Festival’s event page on Aug. 22, 7 p.m. The food festival will also be streaming masterclasses on how to prepare desserts, cocktails and other Singaporean dishes throughout the month.
