Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza is the only Filipino restaurant on the list of top 50 pizzas in the world

Being hailed as one of the best is always a good thing, especially when the honor comes from the international community. Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza recently made it to the 34th spot in the list of 50 best pizzas in the world, according to Big 7 Travel magazine.

The homegrown pizza restaurant joins the ranks of pizzerias all over the world known for serving the best version of this popular Americanized Italian staple. Says the Big 7 website of Gino’s pizzas: “Their pizzas are cooked in a traditional Italian-style with dough that has been baked in house and proves (fermented) for at least a day. They then cook the pizza within a couple of minutes at 400C which results in a perfect crust. The toppings are what really bring their pizzas alive. Never a dull meal in here.”

Naples’ L’Antica Pizzeria di Michele took the top spot in the list.

Other notable establishments that made it to the list are Hong Kong’s Motorino Pizza ranking 47th, Japan’s Pizza Studio Tamaki ranking 36th, and New York’s Di Farra Pizza ranking 12th.

Aside from serving pizzas with delicious spicy honey, Gino’s also serves pasta, coffee and desserts (including a crack pie that should not be missed). If you’re in the mood to order one of the best pizzas in the world, you can have your pie delivered through their website
