Short+Sweet, a multi-form arts festival from Australia, has made its way to the Philippines and is now part of the first Manila Biennale. The main guideline of Short+Sweet is that all performances or presentations must be done in 10 minutes or less. The Philippine festival started in 2014, with entries in the fields of film and theater.
This year, Short+Sweet Philippines hosts a special season dedicated to the LGBTQI community. Called PINK Shorts Manila, this season features six short films and six short plays revolving around stories of LGBTQI aspirations and struggles.

Aside from the films and plays, brief talks and drag performances will also be held during the festival. To cap off each festival night, a party will be hosted by JUNGLE Circuit Party.
PINK Shorts runs from Feb. 24 to 25 at Teatrillo Casa Manila from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
