26 galleries to put the spotlight on PH art at the 10th ManilArt fair

Celebrating and appreciating art doesn’t—and shouldn’t—end with National Art Month (which, if you haven’t heard yet, happens every February).

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Bonafide Art Galleries Organization (BAGO) is once again hosting ManilArt, an annual art fair and exhibition which features art by the masters as well as those by new and up-and-coming artists.

Now on its 10th year, ManilArt runs with the theme, “Ang ARTe ng Pilipinas.” The selected artworks thus highlight the Filipino’s “natural propensity for creativity, from making art that preserves the stories of a community, to art that challenges known boundaries.”

The following museums and galleries will be participating in this year’s ManilArt:

  • Galleria Quattrocento
  • Singapore International Contemporary Art Society
  • Dave Art Gallery
  • Fundacion Sanso
  • 371 Art Space
  • Galerie Francesca
  • Galerie Y
