Ayala Triangle Garden’s Festival of Lights is going online—and on-demand

November is almost over, which means Christmas is truly almost here. Although many of us have been blasting Jose Mari Chan since the start of September, the anticipation hits a whole new level when December rolls around.

While most holiday celebrations are still banned due to pandemic health restrictions, Ayala Land has found a way for people to safely watch the much-awaited “Festival of Lights” from the comfort of their homes.

Instead of having people standing shoulder to shoulder at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, the 12th edition of this Christmas tradition will be held online—and on-demand.

In collaboration with Globe Studios, this year’s “The Festival of Lights” will be adapting to the digital sphere. Award-winning filmmaker Quark Henares and his team have recreated the visual spectacle through a 360-degree interactive video that features festival mainstays like Christmas lights and lasers, with a few digitally added elements to really bring the Christmas magic home.

Aside from the visual spectacle, viewers will also be treated to the musical stylings of Reese Lansangan softly crooning “Oh Holy Night” and “Jingle Bells” in the background.

You can watch this year’s “The Festival of Lights 2020, Lights and Sound Show Virtual Edition” through Ayala Triangle Garden’s and Make it Makati’s Facebook pages right now.
