Holy Week meal plan: Fish and veggie dishes that won’t make you suffer

It can get pretty tough thinking of what or where to eat on fasting and abstinence days, since there’s really just a saturation of meat restaurants in the metro. And we have to admit, sometimes the usual fried fish or fish fillet sandwich can get bland and boring. But just because it’s Lent doesn’t mean we have to suffer through this fishy diet. After all, they did say in the Bible: “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do.”

So cheer up because here’s one week’s worth of healthy, Lent-appropriate dishes that are so good it might feel like sin. Or heaven.

FISH

Baked Apahap with Fennel and Lemon

VEGETABLES

Kimchi Shirataki Noodles
