With a number of underprivileged students struggling to prepare for the coming school year, non-government organizations and private businesses have been stepping in to help students meet the demands of distance learning.
One of these is the Power Mac Store, which has recently opened up donations for old gadgets for students who need it the most.

Through the “Uptrade to Uplift” donation drive, Power Mac Center branches nationwide will be accepting smartphones or tablets from any brand, as long as they don’t have any screen damage, have functioning speakers and come with accessories like chargers and charging cables.
Once a donated device is confirmed to meet the requirements, donors will receive a discount of up to P10,000 on any new iPhone purchase. Donations will be accepted until Sept. 15, and devices will be given to the schools under the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation.
