Buy books for five pesos at the Anvil Warehouse Sale
The sale will run for a month
Aug 10, 2018
Get ready, bookworms: Anvil Publishing is holding a warehouse sale starting today until Sept. 9. They will be selling books for as low as five pesos, and even their regular books will be on a 20 percent discount.
This is especially great for Filipiniana junkies out there. Anvil being one of the top book publishers here, they’ve got a ton of works by the Great Filipino Writers under their roster—Nick Joaquin, Carmen Guerrero Nakpil, Lualhati Bautista, you name it. They’ll be selling all kinds of books at the sale, so expect to see some from their LGBT line (Pride Press), poetry titles, cookbooks, textbooks, and etc.
Head on out to the Anvil Warehouse at KM 14 West Service Road, La Suerte Compound, Merville in Parañaque if you want to check it out (aka fight over the books with the other bookworms). Admission is free, but do keep in mind that their warehouse has a a strict dress code, so don’t come in wearing tsinelas, sandos, or shorts.
