Expect power and water interruptions this Holy Week

Several cities in the metro were hit by rotational blackouts last week after the Luzon grid was placed on a 13-hour red alert status. This week, expect more power interruptions in some parts of Manila and its neighboring areas as the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced its weekly maintenance schedule happening from Apr. 16 to 21.

On a similar note, Maynilad also announced that some cities will also experience water shortages from Apr. 16 to 20. The duration for the water interruption can last from five to 30 hours, depending on the location. Here are the following schedules for power and water interruptions this week:
