According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the country recorded a 10 percent unemployment rate in July, which is equivalent to around 4.6 million people left without a job during this pandemic.
To help alleviate this direct economic repercussion of COVID-19 to Filipinos, the office of Vice President Leni Robredo has another productive program rolled out recently.
Through a post on her official Facebook page, Robredo announced the launch of Bayanihanapbuhay, her office’s latest initiative in partnership with Sikap.PH that aims to make job searching easier for those who became unemployed due to the pandemic.
Consunji, Inc., Lots’a Pizza, Concentrix, Empire East Land Holdings, AECOM Philippines, GET Philippines, McBride Corporation, Omni Petroleum Corp., Solarwinds Software Asia PTE LTD – Philippines Branch.

The Vice President also noted that the platform is free for both job seekers and employers. Those looking for a job may just simply sign up on the platform and complete their profiles to find places where they can apply for work. Meanwhile, interested employers may email [email protected] for job postings.
