Art fair fans, rejoice! On Jan. 20, Art in the Park announced that the annual art event will hold its 2021 run online.
From Feb. 21 to 28, the country’s most affordable art fair will be putting up the works of over 60 galleries on its website, artinthepark.ph for your digital viewing pleasure. While many of us had hoped to meet again at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati for this year’s run, the fair’s second digital run is proof that the event’s mission of making art accessible to all remains alive and well.
While the final lineup of participants is yet to be revealed, Art in the Park s organizers released a short video on its social media pages to give us a preview based on the exhibitors’ briefing.
Art in the Park is among one of the country’s most affordable and diverse art fairs, with the price of art pieces capped at P50,000. As in previous years, a portion of the sales will be going to the Museum Foundation of the Philippines for the benefit of the National Museum and its networks.
