Although quarantine measures continue to ease, customers and businesses are adjusting to a normal without shopping fairs or bazaars due to social distancing measures. With this, event organizers are migrating their scheduled activities to the online space—allowing small businesses to reach out to a bigger audience without the need for mass gatherings.

One of the shopping events that has recently made the shift to the virtual space is The Manila Fling, which will be holding a virtual pop-up from July 2 to Aug. 2. Over the course of four weeks, they will be highlighting 20 local brands on rotation on a centralized website.
Aside from giving local businesses a platform to sell their products, The Manila Fling is giving its customers the opportunity to learn more about the brands on their roster. Virtual question and answer sessions and livestreams with artists, influencers and business owners will be held on their Instagram.

If you want to join in, all you need to do is go online, add items to your cart, pay for your items online and wait for your purchases to be delivered after three to six days. Payments through bank deposit, online transfer, GCash and credit card are accepted.
Customers can also look out for exclusive discounts from participating shops, giveaways and raffles throughout the pop-up.
