We’ve all heard about the Philippine News Agency’s (PNA) latest incident with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) logo. And we’ve had our fun reminding the world about their past blunders as well. But, you know what, the man or woman behind the sensational mistake is only human, and everybody makes mistakes.
We don’t want to fall into the trap of the inefficient call-out culture. It isn’t enough to point out that something is wrong. We have to lend a helping hand too, especially for local agencies like PNA so that they can improve and serve the country better.
Helping doesn’t have to be complicated effort, it could be something as simple as posting a photo album on Facebook. Take for example Facebook user Mae Chatto. In her desire to help the PNA refrain from committing mistakes similar to the DOLE incident again, she posted a photo album of government agency “logos” for the PNA to use as reference for future articles.
My personal favorite:

How about you? How would you help the PNA or any of our local agencies or departments?
