New chocolate confections, promos and bargains—stuff to look forward to if you aren’t a huge fan of cheesy Valentine’s Day festivities. And with the occasion fast approaching, chocolatiers are making their move to win our hearts with the sweetest and most delectable treats they can conjure. In fact, there’s one we’re already eyeing to order for ourselves and our loved ones: an award-winning homegrown brand’s chocolate creations in unique flavors.
On Jan. 17, Auro Chocolate announced a collaboration with local food company Gruppo Dolci for a limited edition bonbon line for Valentine’s Day. Packaged in a metal box that can be personalized with an engraved name, Auro’s newest offer contains 18 bonbons with colorful and uniquely-designed shells and distinct flavors.
The nine flavors to be enjoyed from this bonbon box include Saloy vanilla rhum ganache, calamansi milk chocolate ganache with Madagascar pink peppercorn, and yellow green mango ganache in coconut milk chocolate shell. It also contains “A Romance of Flavor” ganache with a tonka bean, made with Auro’s signature Paquibato dark chocolate.
The 18-piece bonbon box is available for P1,980 online through Auro Chocolate’s website here. Pre-orders are open until Jan. 31, but with only 40 sets available, orders are on a first-come, first-served basis. The boxes will be delivered to your home only from Feb. 7 to 12, with no special delivery requests accepted.
