With restaurants of all shapes, sizes, and cuisines popping up left and right, casual
and professional food enthusiasts alike share one goal in mind: Be the first.
Everybody wants to be the first in something, may it be stepping on a celestial body
in outer space or riding a futuristic self-driving car. It’s a privilege and a pleasure,
especially if you’re the first to try a one-of-a-kind dish.

This coming Sunday, May 13, folks from all over the metro will have the chance to
be the first to try McCormick’s new line of dipping sauces and Agemono Fry Set at
the Flavor Nation Festival in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The dipping sauces
highlight the different tastes of the East, offering four flavors: sweet chili, teriyaki,
tonkatsu, and sriracha. The Agemono Fry Set comes in three variations, making it
easier and more convenient for foodies to make tempura, karaage, and tonkatsu at
home.

During the festival, folks will get to try the dipping sauces and fry sets courtesy of
an Agemono Fry and Dipping Station, a cooking demonstration from Sabrina Artadi
and the Mothers Who Brunch duo Sabrina Cristobal-Go and Michelle Aventejado,
and a bento workshop with Kat Maderazo. At the dipping and fry stations, you will
also get a little help from McCormick’s chef Tenten and T.V. personality Neri
Miranda.

To really set the mood for Asian flavors, the festival lets you delve into Asian culture with an origami workshop for kids (and kids at heart), a calligraphy workshop where you can learn how to write your name in kanji, and a wadaiko drums performance to signal the opening and the closing of the event. Other food concessionaires will also be present, such as Naan, Sabaw Dumplings, The Good Tapa, Gyu Guru, One Matcha, SugarNSoulMNL, chef Nathaniel Uy, chef Natalia Moran, and more.

Lastly, there will be giveaways and a grand raffle where you can win gift
certificates, branded kitchenware, and a kinchaku-inspired canvas bag.
