Welcoming the new year might be that one tradition almost everyone around the globe celebrates. Which means you practically have an endless list of choices of where to welcome the new year. You can travel around the world and see the Sydney Harbour or Christmas Island (which is the first time zone to hit midnight)—or you can have a memorable New Year’s Eve experience right here.
Recently, we curated a list of places where you can celebrate NYE. But if you haven’t found the right place for the perfect year-ender yet, we’ve come up with another list of places you can go to welcome the new decade.
Experience royalty as you make a grand entrance to the new decade at the Royal Affair, Solaire’s New Year’s Eve countdown party. Guests will get to indulge buffet-style in an exquisite selection of local and international dishes carefully crafted by Solaire’s chefs as well as enjoy Fourtissimo’s dinner show. PConcert King Martin Nievera and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez will be also be performing at The Tent where there’s an after-party on a poolside complete with free-flowing wine and another live performance by Red Picasso and 3rd Avenue
Theater artists like Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, Carla Laforteza, Yanah Laurel, Arman Ferrer, Gian Magdangal and Floyd Tena will be at the Waterside to perform dance songs from the 1920s to 2000s.
The Peninsula Manila

Welcome 2020 in style as you walk down the yellow brick road and bid farewell to the year that was. The Peninsula Manila also houses Escolta, which offers a special New Year’s Eve buffet menu including salads, Italian antipasti, ripe cheeses, sushi, and pasta.
Resorts World Manila
Get a dose of pure energy with Resorts World Manila’s 2020 countdown. Now on its fifth year, Resorts World Manila’s Grand Countdown teams up with one of the most iconic solo artists and Mr. Energy himself, Gary Valenciano. The party will be hosted at the Marriott Grand Ballroom by Nicole Asensio and OPM star Randy Santiago and will include a four-course menu: crab and apple salad, double-boiled chicken soup with morel mushrooms and conpoy, char grilled beef tenderloin with Chinese-style garlic king prawns, and a special dessert. As guests enjoy their meal, they can also catch the performances of TNT boys, Gary, Gab, Kiana Valenciano as well as Resorts World Manila’s International Acrobats and Dancers.
City of Dreams
On Dec. 31 at 3 p.m, City of Dreams will start their New Year’s Eve Countdown party, which will feature flair bartending by star bartenders. You can also catch performances by bands like Higher Ground, MUB, and Part 3 while you wait for the clock to strike 12.
City of Dreams’ Ruby Jack offers a Tasting Menu that features some of the restaurant’s classic dishes, such as their dry-aged prime roasts, Slow Roasted Black Angus Sirloin, Don Papa Sizzling Bacon, Crabbe Cake Donuts, House Smoked Salmon Salad, Cherry Smoked Premium Lamb and Bacon Wrapped Kurobuta Pork Medallion.
