We’ve got sad news for coffee enthusiasts in Makati: One of your favorite cafés that serve homegrown brews is closing down.
Local Edition Coffee and Tea, which was conveniently located in Perea St. at Legazpi Village, announced on Facebook that it is shutting its doors to the public in the meantime.
“We say goodbye to our home in Perea Street for a much-needed break as we plan and look forward to brighter days ahead from a fresh, new location. Thank you to all the amazing memories and we look forward to serving you your favorites again soon!” wrote the café’s management on their goodbye post.

In July, the café resumed dine in and takeout operations and was open from Monday to Friday.
While waiting for the location of Local Edition Coffee and Tea’s new home, those who loved its freshly roasted Signature Perea Blend and Wednesday Blend coffee beans may message the café on Facebook for orders.
